How fair is the city of Lexington for its LGBTQ citizens 20 years after passing the Fairness Ordinance? Join community and civic leaders as we celebrate the legacy of the Fairness Ordinance and unravel the threats it's facing right now. Let's contemplate how we move our city, and our state, towards greater equality. This LexHistory Talks! programis presented in collaboration with the Lexington Public Library, Faulkner Morgan Archive and Lexington Fairness. It is a companion to the exhibit, "Our Fair Ceity: The 1999 Lexington Fairness Ordinance," on display from June 17-July 19, 2019, in the Gallery, Lexington Central Public Library, 140 East Main St.
A reception follows immediately afterwards in the gallery, where guests can view the exhibit, "Our Fair City: The 1999 Lexington Fairness Ordinance."
