"Our Fair City: The 1999 Lexington Fairness Ordinance" exhibit explores timeline of local, state and national LGBTQ history, placing passage of Lexington Fairness Ordinance in historical context; features images and artifacts from Lexington Fairness Campaign and passage of Fairness Ordinance July 8, 1999 with video excerpts from public comment on proposed ordinance at LFUCG Council meeting. Sponsored by LexHistory in collaboration with Lexington Public Library, Faulkner Morgan Archive, Lexington Fairness. Exhibit made possible by support from JustFundKY, Kentucky Local History Trust Fund and Allegra Print & Imaging. Display in Gallery, open during Lexington Public Library Central Library regular hours. Free and open to all. (Closed July 4)
