The Dr. Pepper Bottling Company in Lexington was established in 1937 and located at 148 Rose Street. The company also sold other soft drinks, such as Sun Tang [1] and Spizz.

[1] Sun Tang Red Cream Soda was created in 1937 in Waco, Texas. Initially sold in Texas, the brand became popular in Louisville, and then Central Kentucky. The product was later renamed Big Red.
